Itinerary
Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Istanbul
Arrival to Istanbul airport where you will be met by JJTours Representive Personal and Drive to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2. Istanbul
Enjoy a full day tour including a visit to Topkapi Palace Museum, residence of the Ottoman Sultans between 1453–1852 (excluding Harem). Visit the Hippodrome, which was once the center of life where chariot racing and other public events took place. Tour the Blue Mosque built between 1609 and 1616, famous for its blue ceramic tiles, Lunch. Visit St. Sophia, a church built in the 6th century Byzantine capital, converted to a mosque by the Ottomans, and now a museum and one of the world’s greatest architectural wonders Your last stop will be the famous Grand Bazaar, the world’s largest and oldest covered market with over 60 streets. Back to hotel. Overnight in Istanbul. Breakfast.
Day 3. Istanbul – Cappadocia
This morning departing to Istanbul Airport. Then a flight to Cappadocia, arrival to Cappadocia and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia. Breakfast
Day 4. Cappadocia – Istanbul
After breakfast, you will be picked up and met by your tour guide to begin your full day Green Tour in Cappadocia. Your tour guide will brief you on the day’s activities. Your tour will begin with a visit to the Red Valley where you will be able to explore the famous rock-cut churches and hike approximately 5 km through the Gulludere (Ros) Valley). Next you will visit Cavusin village which is famous for its houses and churches of the Christian Clergymen. We will take a break for lunch around noon. Drive to the Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon you will visit the Kaymakli underground city where early Christians lived. This will be the end of your full day tour. At end of the tour you will be transferred to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport for your late evening return flight to Istanbul. Upon your arrival in Istanbul you will be met at the airport and transferred from the airport to your hotel. Breakfast
Day 5. Istanbul
After breakfast, transfer to Istanbul airport for return home flight.
