Itinerary
Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival & Kandy Exploration
Arrive in Colombo at 05:35 via Fits Air 8D-822. After immigration and baggage clearance, transfer to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage (~2.5 hrs) to observe rescued elephants being bathed and fed. Continue to Matale Spice Garden, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s famous spices before heading to Kandy (~1.5 hrs). Explore the Temple of the Tooth Relic, take a scenic Kandy City Tour, and enjoy an enchanting Kandy Cultural Dance Show in the evening. Check into Radisson Kandy for an overnight stay. • Travel Distance: Colombo Airport → Pinnawala (110 km, ~2.5 hrs), Pinnawala → Kandy (40 km, ~1.5 hrs) • Meals: Breakfast • Overnight: Radisson Kandy or Similar
Day 2. Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing
After breakfast, check out and embark on a scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya (~2.5 hrs), passing lush tea plantations and misty hills. Visit Victoria Park, a beautifully landscaped garden, followed by a visit to a strawberry farm (subject to weather conditions). Enjoy a tranquil stroll by Gregory Lake, where you can take an optional boat ride. Explore the charming colonial-style town before checking in at Araliya Red, Nuwara Eliya for an overnight stay. Day 3. Nuwara Eliya to Colombo via Kitulgala
After breakfast, check out and begin your journey to Colombo via Kitulgala (~5 hrs), a scenic route passing waterfalls and lush landscapes. Kitulgala, known for adventure sports, offers an optional stop for white water rafting or nature exploration. Continue to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant capital, and check into Morven Colombo for an overnight stay. In the evening, explore Colombo’s bustling streets, visit Galle Face Green, and experience the city’s dynamic atmosphere. Day 4. Colombo City Tour & Departure
After breakfast, embark on a Colombo City Tour, visiting Independence Square, Gangaramaya Temple, and shopping districts like Odel and Crescat Boulevard for last-minute purchases. Enjoy the city’s colonial charm and modern skyscrapers before checking out. In the afternoon, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your return flight.
