Day 1. Arrival & Kandy Exploration

• Travel: Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) → Kandy (110 km | ~3 hrs) • Overnight Stay: Radisson Kandy or Similar Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) at 5:35 AM and meet your guide. Begin your journey to Kandy with a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage ($17) to watch rescued elephants being fed and bathed. Continue to Matale Spice Garden, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s aromatic spices and their traditional uses. Upon reaching Kandy, explore the city with a visit to the Kandy Temple ($7), a sacred Buddhist site. Later, enjoy a Kandy Cultural Show, featuring vibrant dance performances before checking into your hotel for the night.

Day 2. Nuwara Eliya City Tour

• Travel: Kandy → Nuwara Eliya (80 km | ~2.5 hrs) • Overnight Stay: Araliya Red or Similar After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya, passing through misty hills and tea plantations. En route, visit a Tea Factory, where you’ll witness the tea-making process and enjoy a fresh cup of Ceylon tea. Upon arrival, embark on a Nuwara Eliya City Tour, exploring colonial buildings and the charming town center. Visit Victoria Park ($5), a beautifully landscaped garden perfect for a scenic walk. If the climate permits, head to a Strawberry Farm, where you can pluck and taste fresh strawberries. End the day at Gregory Lake ($5), where you can take a boat ride or relax by the lakeside before returning to your hotel.

Day 3. Ella Excursions & Sightseeing

• Travel: Nuwara Eliya → Ella (60 km | ~2 hrs) → Nuwara Eliya (60 km | ~2 hrs) • Overnight Stay: Araliya Red or Similar Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to Ella, one of Sri Lanka’s most picturesque hill towns. Begin with a visit to Ravana Falls, a stunning waterfall surrounded by lush greenery. Continue to the Nine Arches Bridge, an architectural wonder where you can capture stunning photos of passing trains. If time permits, visit Little Adam’s Peak, a short and rewarding hike with panoramic views. You can also experience the famous Ella Train Ride ($30), known for its breathtaking scenery. After a day of adventure, return to Nuwara Eliya for a peaceful night’s rest.

Day 4. Ramboda Falls & Transfer to Bentota

• Travel: Nuwara Eliya → Ramboda Falls → Bentota (210 km | ~5 hrs) • Overnight Stay: The Palms or Similar After breakfast, check out and visit the spectacular Ramboda Falls, a multi-tiered waterfall perfect for photography and a short nature walk. After soaking in the beauty of the falls, continue your journey down from the hills towards Bentota, passing through scenic tea estates and small villages. Upon arrival in Bentota, check in at The Palms or Similar and relax. Spend the evening unwinding on the golden sandy beaches, taking in the sunset, or enjoying the resort’s amenities.

Day 5. Bentota, Galle & Wildlife Encounters

• Travel: Bentota → Galle (65 km | ~1.5 hrs) → Bentota (65 km | ~1.5 hrs) • Overnight Stay: The Palms or Similar Begin your day with an exciting Madu River Safari ($15), a boat ride through mangroves, where you’ll see exotic wildlife, traditional fishing villages, and experience fish therapy. Next, visit a Turtle Hatchery ($5), where you’ll learn about conservation efforts to protect sea turtles. Continue to Galle Fort ($10), a UNESCO World Heritage Site with stunning colonial-era architecture, boutique shops, and scenic ocean views. Spend the afternoon exploring the fort, walking along the ancient ramparts, and enjoying local seafood. Return to Bentota for a relaxing evening by the beach.

Day 6. Colombo & Departure

• Travel: Bentota → Colombo (90 km | ~2 hrs) → Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) • Flight: Fits Air 8D – 821 (Colombo 18:55 → Dubai 22:30) Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out from your hotel. If time permits, head to Colombo for last-minute shopping at Odel, Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct, or Pettah Market. You can also take a short Colombo City Tour, covering key attractions like Independence Square, Galle Face Green, and Gangaramaya Temple. In the afternoon, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your flight back to Dubai, marking the end of an unforgettable journey.
