• Travel: Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) → Kandy (110 km | ~3 hrs) • Overnight Stay: Radisson Kandy or Similar Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) at 5:35 AM and meet your guide. Begin your journey to Kandy with a stop at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage ($17) to watch rescued elephants being fed and bathed. Continue to Matale Spice Garden, where you’ll learn about Sri Lanka’s aromatic spices and their traditional uses. Upon reaching Kandy, explore the city with a visit to the Kandy Temple ($7), a sacred Buddhist site. Later, enjoy a Kandy Cultural Show, featuring vibrant dance performances before checking into your hotel for the night.

En route, visit a Tea Factory, where you’ll witness the tea-making process and enjoy a fresh cup of Ceylon tea.
